Midtown private equity firm is looking for a senior level Executive Assistant.
The Executive Assistant will provide support to several senior Investment Banking professionals within the firm and will report to Senior Level Investment Bankers & Human Resources.
The Executive Assistant provides a primary source of contact for clients and employees of MTS in all matters pertaining to the people supported. The Executive Assistant may also be responsible for overseeing and organizing special projects. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment that is results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual has the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, is able to work under pressure, has strong written and verbal communication, and has strong analytical, administrative and organizational skills as well as the ability to balance multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently but is also expected to thrive in a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsabilities
- Manage and organize constantly changing calendars
- Handle all travel arrangements both domestic and international.
- Successfully coordinate meetings and conference calls involving multiple parties across multiple time zones
- Conduct light company and industry research
- Communicate effectively with clients, employees and those supported.
- Manage and organize ad-hoc projects including event planning
- Handle personal assistant work as requested
Administrative
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks including; scanning, faxing, filing, completing expense reports, entering business cards and composing and preparing correspondence
- Provide phone coverage to those supported and others as needed
- Exhibit initiative, flexibility, resourcefulness and efficiency, with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of experience, preferably from within the financial industry
